SG Consumer Related Stocks
Research Report:
SG Consumers: OSK DMG note that amidst weaker consumer confidence and lacklustre results, Singapore consumer counters have risen 12% YTD, beating the STI’s 5% gain. House expect earnings growth to ease to 7% in FY13, which may cap any further price upside.
FJ Benjamin underperformed its peers as its share price has retreated by 14% YTD. The stock is now trading at 1.1x forward P/B, near the bottom of its band since 2010 (3-year low and high: 1.0-1.9x P/E; 2009 crisis: 0.4x P/B). The coy saw profits slide 72% to $1.3m in 2QFY13 owing to softer timepiece sales due to fewer purchases by the Chinese in China and Hong Kong. Nonetheless, the sales decline in its North Asia market appears to have bottomed as management is starting to see a pick-up.
Just as undemanding in terms of valuation is OSIM (BUY, TP $2.22), which is trading at a 15x FY13 P/E. OSIM remains house Top Pick.

Singapore Real Estate Update
Below contents are from Kim Eng Research reports, I think it's pretty good in giving you a bird's eye view on the latest update of Singapore Real Estate.
Property Prices Reach New High, Government Ramping Up Housing Supply
Private property prices increased 5.3% in 2Q10, setting an all‐time high in the URA price index of 184.2, surpassing the past record of 181.4 achieved in 1996. This has prompted the Government to ramp up its supply for 2H10. A total of 31 sites will be made available in the Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme, potentially generating 13,905 private housing units, the largest supply since the Confirmed List/Reserved List system started in 2H01.
NUS SRPI Indicates Slowdown, New Sentiment Index Points to Weaker Confidence
Latest flash estimates for June of the Singapore Residential Price Index (SRPI) reveal a slowdown in the growth of property prices. The price index for Central region climbed 0.7% mom, slower than 2.1% and 3.4% achieved in May and April respectively. Latest reading for Q2 of the Real Estate Sentiment Index (RESI) stood at 5.9, down from 6.8 in Q1. Industry players remain positive but are less bullish, citing key market risks as an overall decline in the global economy and the increase in supply of new development land.

Singapore Cheap Stocks List
Hi All,
Cheap stocks become hot everyday, they are "diamond in the rough", if you have bought a CORRECT cheap stock, it can give you 10% gain within a day or two easily, but not all cheap stocks can become a "diamond", most of them are "stone" forever. How to find these "diamond"? I spent almost a whole day to screen and create this cheap stock list for your reference, but I am sure not all potential "diamond" have been included into the list. I hope it can give you some clues... Anyway,I will probably update it from time to time, share with me if you found a good stock. Well, the "cheap" stocks in my list are typically:-
1. Price from 20cents to $2
2. Minimum Average vol is 500,000 over past 50 days
3. Average True Range(ATR) is at least 2 cents (i.e at least 10% move for a 20c stock)
4. Highly speculative
5. Good for short term momentum trading(2days to 2 weeks max)
6. Clean chart where T.A can be applied( This is critical)
