What Does Potong Saga Mean Here?

Nah,it's a nightmare only.

A Nice Short Set Up

This probably explained why OCBC dropped 5% or 41cents so far, beyond it's EX day.

And what preventCityDev from moving higher.

TGIF

A quiet and relatively inactive market day like this often leads to boring, unless you are lucky enough bought Hiap Seng, which rose 17% today. I've seen too many counters are consolidating at or near their major support level and refuse to drop down further. including YZJ and 1st resources.

Otherwise, watch this video to brighten up your Friday. TGIF.

The New Overhang

Hi all, this is the latest update from me on the broad market: It looks to me the market doesn't want to climb higher, I'm on the BEARISH side. It may up a bit but not much room to the upside, I'm bias to downside now. AS for S&p 500, I'm looking at 993 for decent resistance level.

Watchout CapitaRchina

it's at support with bullish reversal signal. It looks to me quite bullish... Hope US mkt tonight don't be disappointed. so far so good. I'm filled up with lots of stuff to settle...chart yourself. good luck!

The 40% Retracement Rule

I think the big picture is this, after recovery of 40%(38.2% of fib) for the three indices( Dow, SPX, and Nasdaq), Now the serious retracement is arriving, and it's 1st wave, we got see how low it will go( Today's all news are saying economy is improving and the worst is over (read here and here: and yet the market is nose-diving, you will feel confused if you don't know the contrarian)

When market diving, better find its support and wait for it to stand up and long, or else it's late for shorting when it down huge.

The Contrarian

Dear All, sorry for the rather inactive posting these days, as I'm spend more time on CNX forum instead during these time period given my tight time schedule. Anyway thanks for your visit despite my inactive postings.

No doubt I'll continue post here, it's my own home here, it's just a different feeling and I can say whatever I want after crowd outside day... Just a little bit of update myself, I'm current experience kinda of mental transforming, err...means to say the shifting of focus from T.A to more towards the psychology of myself, doesn't mean I'm doing those spiritual or religious things, but be more aware of my own fear and greed toward every trade I have done. Now I understand better the saying " In trading, your only enemy is yourself".

As a test and experiment of myself, last friday I entered total 8 put positions( vertical put spread with downward bias while control my loss if I'm wrong), of course I did follow the money management but still the risk is quite high if I was wrong. The reason I entered these trade is because all the positions are having their resistance overhead purely from T.A point of view. The positions are: DO, EAT, FLR, GS, MAN, POT, RIMM, WYNN -- all vertical put spread. The result is good or i'm merely lucky? I already exit all the positions with stunning profit just now. Many times, I'm not discipline enough to take profit and in the end it was given back.

okie...that's it for now. I'll do a separate market analysis in next post... soon.

FOMC Meeting

Wednesday is going to be a typically FOMC meeting day-- the 5th of 8 schedule meeting this year, next one is on Sep 22nd. And the remaining meeting of the year are as below:

September 22 (Tuesday)

November 3-4 (Tuesday-Wednesday)

December 15 (Tuesday)

You may mark your the dates on your calendar. Anyway tonight Federal Reverse Committee will announce the rate tonight 2.15am(SG time). As I say every time one of these comes around, get ready for the zig-zag or roller-coasting on your real time streaming chart. As it may go either direction, I just simply closed most my short term positions and just leave few hedged position open(they are non- directional), as for my options. I made stunning profit on citi(C). cool.

Cam-Bridge

Received an email from a dear reader about this stock, It's quite interesting though below 50c now.

1. Nice uptrend since Mar bottom.
2. A pull back happened, currently trading at 40c, which is its horizon and 20dma support.
3. It occurs to me that there plenty of room to the upside. no major resistance until 60c

4. If support hold, it will be a nice long candidate.

Lottery Play For Long

Hello Everyone, I feel very bad on myself as I have few posts these days...oops, Mkt going to open, I'll update myself again, let's take a look at US mkt first, just few long candidates for those of you who trade US market, I always like to call these stocks lottery play as they are typically cheap, high risk stocks... I've seen too many my lottery long candidates moving higher and higher, but I'm just an idea generator instead of the user of them, reason being my option trading rule do not allow me to trade stocks below $15..but Now I decided to park some of my money into these stocks.

Here they are:

BEE
GLG
LIZ
SYMX
AA
TRID
