Will Iskandar become Malaysia's Shenzhen? Really?
Iskandar in Johor recently getting hot, especially after the two PMs from both countries recently launched three projects in Johor.
Everything looks beautiful when I read all the reports, but after I saw the map of it, I'm really surprised. Wow...it's three times of Singapore, and two times of Hongkong. How many people do we need to support the growth there? and where are these people come from? Immigrants? hot topic again.

Bottom Fishing: SoundGlobal
From DBS Research Report today:
Sound Global was sold down after its weak 4Q12 results, CFO departure and the ensuing management shuffle. The stock is now trading at 9x FY13F PE or –1SD of its historical mean. It is the cheapest water stock in the region, trading at >40% discount to peers’ average of 15x PE. Our analyst has adjusted FY13/14F earnings by -5%/+12% respectively to conservatively phase out project recognition schedule. Maintain BUY, target price lowered to S$0.81 (Prev S$ 0.89), but there is still 62% potential upside. Surging interest expense and delayed execution are key risks; Sound Global’s depressed valuations could draw privatization interest, in our view.
SoundGlobal rebounding after hit its bottom support 49c, currently 52c, up 2c(10.35am)

STI Trapped in Between 3300-3260
STI spiked down below 3260 support and back to the trapped range again on Tue. Continue to watch 3300-3260 level to be breakout for clear up/down direction. Most of the stocks are in sideway action as well but I see some potential long setups for a rebound.

Friday Indicator
STI still trapped within the range 3300-3260, with spike up and downs for six times for the past 1.5 months. In this kind of mkt, majority of the breakout would fail and we can see lots of false breakout and whipsaws. The effective strategy would be buy at support and sell and Resistance.
As for this week, STI did spiked up and registered week high of 3317.42 and then fell back within the range again. Do monitor the levels, if STI can close above 3295 tmr, then we will have a green candle for the week.

Weekly Wrap
Hello. I'm rather inactive last week as STI basically in a range trading, rather doring despite bullish run in the US and HK. STI stucked in between 3300-3260 range. We should have clearer direction for either side breakout( up or down). 3300 -3307 is rather major resistance level.
Below is the indexes performance for the week.

Weekly/Monthly Wrap
Feb just ended, I have tabulated major indexes Feb performance below, the US three indexes are positive and Asian three indexes i.e HSI, SSE and STI are negative. A quite a clear picture that investors are still like to invest in the state.
For the week, Friday is first day of Mar, SSE and HSI actually rebounded alot but not for STI, it's the only index in red...
Below is the foret picture for STI, it has been resisted by 100% @ 3307 level for the past four weeks, my immediate support is 3260, next support level would be 3200 if 3260 broken down.
